Albert Mendez, a dedicated Army veteran, teacher, and loving family man passed away on November 28, 2024 at the age of Sixty-three. He is survived by his beloved wife, Brunilda Mendez, his cherished son, Angel Elias Mendez, his mother, Carmen Mendez, siblings Angelo Mendez and Yvette Gonzalez, among many extended family and friends.

Albert served in the United States Army for ten years, where he demonstrated unwavering dedication and commitment to his country. His military service instilled in him values of discipline, responsibility, and honor, which he carried with him throughout his life.

After his time in the Army, Albert transitioned into a career in education. He became a teacher, AND his passion for learning and his nurturing nature left a lasting impact on the countless students he mentored over the years. His dedication to shaping young minds was a reflection of his own deep commitment to making the world a better place.

Albert, “DJ AL” had an undeniable passion for music that touched the lives of everyone who knew him. As a talented DJ, he brought joy to countless events, always creating the perfect atmosphere with his eclectic mix and infectious energy. Music was not just a hobby for Albert; it was a way of life, a gift he shared with the world, leaving behind a soundtrack that will forever remind us of his vibrant spirit.

He shared a beautiful life with his wife, Brunilda, son Angel, whom Albert was immensely proud of. Family was everything to Albert, and his love for them was boundless.

Albert is preceded in death by his father Angel Manuel Mendez, and other loved ones but leaves behind a legacy of love, service, and education that will never be forgotten. His memory will live on in the hearts of his family, friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing him.

Albert’s presence will be deeply missed, but his impact on the world and his family will never fade. Thank you for being an awesome Husband, father and son. Rest in peace, Albert.
