Alfredo F Loureiro

Alfredo Ferreira Loureiro, 89, of Spring Hill, Florida passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, February 16, 2022. Born in 1932 Benedita, Portugal to the late Joaquin Justo Loureiro and Laurinda Pereira Rebelo. Alfredo immigrated to the United States with his family in 1970 and settled in Ludlow, Massachusetts where he lived and worked as a Tool Craftsman in a manufacturing plant until his retirement in the 1980s. He settled in Spring Hill, Florida where he enjoyed the warmer weather, and gardening very much, he also enjoyed socializing with friends. He was part of the Portuguese Club of New Port Richey, keeping our Portuguese traditions and culture alive. Alfredo was preceded in death by his angelic supporting wife Maria Alice D’Avo Loureiro, together they had 8 children, 9 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren. Preceded in death by his sons Reinaldo Loureiro, and Paulo Loureiro. Survived by his son Honorato “Rocky” Loureiro, daughters Florinda Franklin, Elsa Carrier, Maria Glidden, Regina Loureiro, and Gracinda Loureiro. Grandchildren Christy, Sara-Lee, Angie, Sandra, Stephanie, Rebecca, Jeffrey, Rachael, and Timothy. Great grandchildren Max, Grace, Liam, Addie, Stella, Norah, Farrah, and Emma. He has many friends and family in Portugal, and Canada. No funeral services will be held, as the family wishes to have a private ceremony at a later time.
