Amanda Clara Burkey

Amanda Clara Burkey (Orlikowski) passed away on April 29,2023 at 40 years old in Spring Hill, FL from unexpected health complications. Born and raised in Detroit, Mi to Michael and Katherine Orlikowski, Amanda grew up to be a kindhearted and compassionate individual. She graduated college at Wayne State University in 2004 with her bachelor’s in business administration. She would later find herself the position of director of operations at AmWins Insurance. Amanda and the love of her life, Jason Burkey, packed their bags and moved to Spring Hill Florida in 2008 where they would marry and have two children, Ella and Luke. She became a devoted wife and a proud mother.

Amanda loved to go on vacations and fishing trips with her family. She could often be found camping and doing many outdoor activities. Through her magnetic personality and infectious laughter, Amanda brought sunshine everywhere she went. She was dedicated to her family and friends, always ready to help through the tough times and celebrate the best times.

Amanda is survived by her husband Jason Burkey and her beautiful children Ella and Luke Burkey. She is also survived by her parents Michael and Katherine Orlikowski, Her sister Jennifer (Kevin) and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, and lifelong friends.

There will not be a funeral; however, a celebration of life will be held in Michigan on September 9^th and in Florida September 21^st.
