Barbara Frances Divjak

Barbara F. Divjak January 04, 1946 - December 27, 2019 Barbara F. Divjak, age 73 of Florida beloved sister of Tina LaVersa and Susan Porto, passed away peacefully on December 27,2019. Barbara was born in Bridgeport,Ct. on January 4th , 1946 to the late Alfred and Kristina Nalewajk. She was a graduate of Trumbull High School and earned her Bachelor of Arts Degree at the University of Bridgeport. She worked for a law firm as their Legal secretary, a receptionist at Sumagraphics,and as a head cashier at Publix grocery store in Florida before retiring. Survivors include sister, Tina LaVersa, sister, Susan Porto and her husband ,Joseph Porto, Nephew and Godson, Christopher Hiller and his wife Nancy, Great Nephew Nicholas ,and many nieces & nephews from her extended family. In addition to to her parents,Barbara was predeceased by her brother, Alfred Nalewajk Jr. and brother-in law Donald LaVersa. She will be laid to rest at Park Cemetery in Bridgeport,Ct. No date has been set at this time. In lieu of flowers those desiring may make donations in Barbara's name to the American Cancer Society.
