Carl Vincent Hobbs Sr.

It is with great sadness we announce the passing of our father, Carl (Tony) Vincent Hobbs Sr. on July 2, 2020 at the age of 81. Born on April, 9 1939 in Hagan, VA to Pauline and Ralph Hobbs. After high school he served in the United States Air Force. Through his work he traveled across the country eventually retiring in Florida. Tony was known for his wit, sense of humor, and telling his outlandish stories. In earlier years, he loved taking road trips on his motorcycle. He also had an interest in history and studying his ancestry. ​ Tony is preceded in death by his mother Pauline, his father Ralph, and brothers Earl Craig Hobbs and Mitch Mroczka. He leaves behind his loving wife Pearl Hobbs, three children Lou Ann Kelvey, Carl Hobbs Jr., Lisa Saunders, his step son Richard Wuska, his brothers David Hobbs and Bart Bartholomew, his sisters Mitzie Rowe, Jacqueline Mroczka, Sandi Colwell, and a host of grandchildren. ​ Due to the pandemic, a celebration of life will be held at a later date In lieu of flowers, the family wound prefer all donations go to the Wounded Warriors Project in Carls name. www.woundedwarriorproject.org/
