Hayden, Charles, Edward, 79, passed on December 20, 2016 while surrounded by his loving family.
Charles proudly served his nation for four years as an active duty member of the United States Air Force and over 16 years as a reservist in the United States Navy. He also served and retired as a Sergeant after proudly serving his community as a member of the Clearwater Police Department. He was a member of Christ Lutheran Church.
Mr. Hayden is survived by his wife of 57 years, Ruth (nee Armbruster), and their four children: Edward (Karen), Douglas (Sabrina), Kenneth (Jessica), and Teresa (Terry); 8 grandchildren: Ryan, Amber (Tony), Eddie, Tim, Colton, Aimee, Tyler, and Cory; and 3 great-grandchildren: Gianni, Bella, and Christian. He was preceded in death by his brothers Joseph Hayden and Thomas DeBeche, and his sister Louise Boland.
The family will be receiving friends at Christ Lutheran Church in Brooksville on January 3, 2017 from 10-11 AM, with a Memorial Service at 11 AM, then followed by a luncheon. A graveside service at Florida National Cemetery is scheduled for 2:30 PM with military honors provided by members of the United States Navy and Air Force.
