Charles George Johnson

December 1, 1985 — November 17, 2024

Brooksville

Charles Johnson was born in Ohio on December 1, 1985. Raised in Spring Hill, Florida, he grew up surrounded by the love and guidance of his mother, Nadine, and grandparents, George and Carol. From an early age, Charles exhibited a remarkable talent for music, becoming a classically trained pianist and singer—a passion that remained central throughout his life.

Charles attended Powell Middle School and F.W. Springstead High School, where he thrived as an active member of both the chorus and band programs. His musical journey culminated in one of his proudest accomplishments: serving as band major for the Springstead Marching Band during his senior year.

In adulthood, Charles built a life filled with love and creativity. Charles in his early years of adulthood met and married, Danielle Cool, and together they became proud parents to their daughter, Aliyah Isis Johnson. Charles pursued his passion for hospitality, earning a reputation for excellence in the industry. He brought warmth and professionalism to every interaction, leaving a lasting impression during his time at Glen Lakes Country Club and Carrabba's Italian Grill. Later in life, Charles shared his musical talents as a piano teacher, inspiring countless young minds and leaving a lasting legacy through his students.

Charles is survived by his beloved daughter, Aliyah Isis Johnson, and his ex-wife Danielle Johnson and the Cool family. He is also lovingly remembered by his adopted parents in Christ, Arcangel and Shirley Ramirez; his sisters Zerimar Ramirez-Rodriguez, Angely Ramirez-Turner, and Amanda Ramirez; and his best friend, James Justiniano; as well as his many nieces, nephews, and extended lifelong friends and family.

While those who knew and loved Charles will miss him deeply, they take comfort in knowing he is at peace and whole with the Lord, reunited with his mother and grandparents.

Charles Johnson will be remembered as a man of many talents—a gifted musician, dedicated father and brother, and a beloved presence in his community. His life was a symphony of passion, kindness, and service, echoing in the hearts of all who knew him.

In lieu of flowers, please consider donating to Charles’ daughter, Aliyah, and the family. Thank you.
