Denis Timothy

Denis Timothy, loving son, brother, father, grandfather and uncle passed away on September 18, 2023 at the age of 52. Born on Staten Island, New York to John W. Timothy Jr. and Ellen (Delaney) Timothy on January 31, 1971, he attended Blessed Sacrament School until moving with his family to Spring Hill, Florida in 1983. After graduating from Springstead High School he went on to complete training at the Fire College in Ocala Fl. and served with the Hernando Beach Volunteer Fire Department. He then worked with the Hernando County Pest Control Company for many years. 

 

Denis enjoyed playing golf, watching Nascar, working outdoors and above all spending time with family and friends. He truly cared about people and was always there to help anyone, whatever the need.

 

Denis is survived by his mother Ellen, sisters Mary Beth DeRosa (Joseph), Katie Loreto, brothers John (Michele), Brian (Ryan), sons Denis and Tyler Timothy, Charles Kennegott and beloved granddaughter Delaney Kennegott. He also leaves behind nieces Sarah, Jenna, Alison and Emily, nephews Frank, Chris, Joe, John and Brian and great-nephew JaKhari, as well as many cousins.  He was preceded in death by his father John W. Timothy Jr. and brother-in-law Frank Loreto.

 

He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.
