Duncan Alan Engel

Duncan Alan Engel, 73, of Spring Hill passed away peacefully at home on March 15^th, 2023.

He was born on August 16^th, 1949, the son of late Theodore Engel and Harriette Hart in Queens, NY.

He is survived by his sister, Marion and his sons, Christopher and David.

Duncan grew up in Kearney, NJ.  He attended Montclair State College and was a Vice President in banking.  He stayed active in the community as President of his sons’ little league and coached both of his sons teams.  Duncan dedicated a lot of his free time to the Lutheran Church; volunteering, singing in the choir, and even becoming a deacon.  He loved to take his sons and their friends to sporting events.

When he retired to Spring Hill in 2012, he looked forward to his weekly poker game with his friends and always watched his Tampa Bay Rays as he loved baseball.

A memorial service will be held March 25^th, 2023 at his beloved All Saints Lutheran Church at 2pm.
