A man’s presence in his family is felt by his powerful love for them, but never more than in the case of Eddie Roark. He passed away on September 10, 2016 in Spring Hill, Florida at Hernando Pasco Hospice after an extended illness. Eddie was born to Earl and Irene Roark in Guage, KY.
Besides his parents, Eddie was preceded in death by a twin sister Opal; sister Alene; brother Paul; son Danny; and a grandson Richard. He is survived by his wife Lorene of 51 years; daughter Karen; son Dewayne; brothers Ray and Gilbert; sister Lois; 3 grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
Eddie enjoyed riding four wheelers with his family and going on nature walks. He always wanted to help his neighbors when possible and was an ardent animal lover. He enjoyed sitting on the back porch with his morning coffee and feeling the cool morning air. Eddie has left a lasting impression on everyone he has met or helped at one time or another. He will be missed by his family and friends and will be remembered for his long talks about growing up in Kentucky.
Family asks in lieu of flowers, send donations to National Kidney Foundation on behalf of Eddie.
