Edilma Dowling, age 82, of Spring Hill, Florida, passed away peacefully January 12, 2025. Born Edilma Franco in Cali, Colombia, she was one of 13 siblings in a loving, close-knit family. Edilma's journey took her far from her birthplace, as she moved to New York in the 1960s, where she began building a new life. In the 1980s, she relocated to Clearwater, Florida, where she raised her family with her then-husband, Bill Dowling.
Edilma was a devoted mother and cherished the role of caring for her two children, Jason and Janell. Edilma is remembered for her strength, kindness, and the deep love she had for her family.
A private family Celebration of Life was held in her honor.
