Fortunato N Hernandez

Fortunato N. Hernandez, 92, of Utuado, Puerto Rico, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his family on march 25, 2024, in Spring Hill, Florida. He was born on June 1, 1931. Fortunato worked as a Crane Operator for Republic Steel in Youngstown, Ohio. In his free time, he enjoyed playing Dominos, watching wrestling and fishing.

He is survived by his children: Juan Hernandez (Beverly), Daniel Hernandez (Terry), Aida Reynolds, Mary Hernandez-Perez, Ricardo Hernandez (Angie), Tina Price, Fortunato M Hernandez Jr (Vicky). Grandchildren, Mem Sanders, James Reynolds, Andre Reynolds, Angelisa Sanders, Juan Hernandez, Jaime Hernandez, Brianna Murphy, Kayla Copley, Martika Jackson, Natalya Perez, Eliana Hernandez, Tierah Miller, Dakota Price, Kaya Hernandez and Courtney Hernandez and a Host of great grandchildren.

Fortunato was preceded in death by his wife, Consuelo Hernandez, sons James Hernandez and Furtunato "Poncho" Natal Hernandez, grandson Juan Hernandez and brother Juan Hernandez Natal.

A funeral service will be held at Pinecrest Funeral Chapel, located at 3369 Mariner Blvd, Spring Hill, FL  34609, to honor and celebrate Fortunato's life. Pinecrest Funeral Chapel in Spring Hill, FL is assisting with the arrangements for Fortunato Hernandez's passing.
