Isabelle M Stough

Isabelle Marie Stough departed this world at the age of 102, on May 18^th at 1:21 AM. at the Vitality Asst. Living Facility, Brooksville, FL.

Isabelle was born at home in Evansville, IN; January 16, 1922 to Frederick John and Rosa (Reine) Stofleth.  She was the youngest with 3 siblings: Walter, Lillian and Mary.

She lived and worked in Muncie Indiana until 1957 when she moved to South Bend. Working at Bendix Corporation as a secretary until retirement in 1988. With her husband of 42 yrs Robert Arnold Stough, (preceding her in death Nov 15, 2006.) they moved to Brooksville in 1988.

Isabelle enjoyed her retirement life in the Brookridge Community; partaking in Bridge, theatre trips, shopping, traveling and Bowling.  She was an avid Bowler and always on the go.

Isabelle’s eldest son Michael Charles proceeded her in death (December 2022) (m. Carol Powell. Deceased 2023; m. Frances Henson). His 2 sons Michael Charles Jr (m. Tamara Marlow) and. Robert Arthur (m  Laura Bastin)

Isabelle is survived by her son, Anthony Wayne (m. Patricia Marie Szajko) their daughter Stacey Linn (m. Joshua Noem).

She was blessed with 7 beautiful, intelligent, and dutiful Great grandchildren Zachary (m. Jennifer) ; Justin (engaged to Claire Michelle Mckinney), Madaline, and Kaylyn Stough (engaged Ryan Myers).   Oscar Anthony, Simon-Peter, and Lucy Day Noem.  AND (2) great great-grand Children; Oliver Robert Stough, and Everett William Stough.

A funeral service will be held at the University of Notre Dame Log Chapel on May 30 at 3:00 with Interment of both Bob and Isabelle’s cremains at Riverside cemetery, South Bend, Indiana immediately following.
