Mr. Rose passed after an illness at the Sturgill HPH Hospice House in Brooksville, FL on January 16, 2023. He was born in Akron, Ohio on February 1,1930. He is survived by his wife of 70 years Daphene, son Terry Rose (Cindy), daughters Patrona Turman (Johnny) and Tammy Martin (Louie), Sister Patty Campbell (Brad). Brother in-law Randy (Cindy), Sister in-laws Darlene, Evalene (Dave) He is predeceased by his parents Cleat and Mable, brother Vaughn, sisters Audrey, Mary and Nancy.

Jack was the proud Grandfather of Melissa and Christopher (Kelly), Great Grandfather of Brandon (Jessica), Nicholas, Vanessa (Shawn), Alyssa and Taylor, Great-Great Grandfather of Nevaeh and Paisley and loved by many nieces and nephews.

Jack served in the Army from 1948 to 1952. Worked most of his career as a heavy equipment operator and in law-enforcement. He was a founding member of the Birch River Volunteer Fire Department a Mason, a Brooksville Hospital Volunteer and Trustee of Highlands Baptist Church.

Services will held at Highlands Baptist Church on Friday, January 20, 2023 at 3:00 pm. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made in his honor to Highlands Baptist Church, 7932 Ridge Road, Weeki Wachee, FL 34613
