Jennifer Lynne Baldree-Morris, 51, passed away April 2, 2025 in residence in Spring Hill, Florida. Jennifer is survived by mother Sandra Y. McGrew, step-father Ronald McGrew, daughter Shelby N. Gustafson, son Caelan T. Wilson, step-sister Amy K. Troxel, step-niece Alex Pontius, Aunt Aunalie (Gene) Robinson, step-mother Sharon (Perkins) Baldree, step- brothers Chuck and Chad Perkins and several cousins. Jennifer was predeceased by beloved sister Tamara E. (Baldree) Mason, father Alvin L. Baldree, grandparents William and Dorothy Baldree, George and Garnet Blakeman, and step-grandparents Zeal and Lucille McGrew and several aunts, uncles and cousins.
Jennifer graduated from Grove City High School, Grove City, Ohio in June 1991. She joined the NJROTC to prepare herself for enlistment in the U.S. Navy. She earned several medals for her accomplishments and made many life-long friends with whom she stayed connected since graduation. She enlisted in the U.S. Navy in November 1991 and served on the USS Simon Lake submarine support group out of Norfolk, Virginia until honorably discharged in August of 1992 due to the sudden loss of sister Tammy who was also serving in the Navy. Jennifer had several periods of employment since leaving the Navy, the most recent as an Administrative Assistant for the Kroger Food Store chain and T-Mobile as Sales Representative in Decatur, Alabama after relocating to Alabama from Ohio.
After relocating to Georgia from Alabama, she eventually joined American Legion Post 111 in Georgia where she served as a Veterans Service Officer and coordinated a donation drive for food, clothing and other needs with local veteran groups for veterans in need. Her Navy photo was placed on a “ceiling” of honor within the post establishment.
Jennifer’s life passion was her devotion to her children Shelby and Caelan, her family, life-long friends and animals. Her compassion for animals, after losing her beloved rescue dog Sadie in Georgia, led her to volunteer at the Humane Society of the Nature Coast no-kill animal shelter in Florida, and caring for her little emotional support Guinea Pig “Piglet”. Jennifer had a listening ear for any who needed one, a quirky sense of humor to lighten a moment, and a silly cross-eyed facial expression to make you laugh.
Jennifer struggled with physical pain and depression for many years and turned her life over to Jesus, speaking often of her close relationship with Him. Her legacy is our cherished memories-she will never be forgotten-her life mattered-she is at peace.
