John Thomas Sules

Sules, John Thomas, 87, Weeki Wachee, passed on August 10, 2017. A native of Newark, NJ, and a veteran of the United States Navy, Mr. Sules moved to this area over 20 years ago after retiring as Deputy Regional Vice President for State Farm Insurance. He enjoyed playing golf, singing, dining out, telling stories and jokes. Mr. Sules was a big fan of Frank Sinatra, the New York Giants, Joe Dimaggio and Yogi Berra. His family describes him as a man that was bigger than life and as someone who will be greatly missed. Mr. Sules is survived by his wife of 61 years, Louise, his sons: Stephen and his wife Lorraine, John and his wife Kelli, Richard and his wife Elizabeth, and Christopher and his wife Paula; and 13 grandchildren: John, Chelsea, Zoe, Christie, Jessica, Daniel, Jenna, Jack, Gabriel, Michael, Peter, Paul, and Chloe. He was preceded in death by a grandchild, Stephen. Mr. Sules will be laid to rest at the Gate of Heaven Cemetery in East Hanover, NJ.
