Joseph James Felice III

Joseph James “Jim” Felice, III, 75, of Hudson, FL, formerly of Patchogue, NY, passed away peacefully on Thursday, December 19, 2024, in Hudson, FL. He was born June 9, 1949, in Port Jefferson, NY to Joseph James Felice, Jr. and Lorraine Dolores (Bennett) Felice. Jim was a skilled electrician, spending the majority of his career working as an electrician on Fire Island in New York. He was a proud veteran of the United States Navy and Naval Reserves. Jim relocated to Florida full-time in 2005 where he enjoyed fishing, operating his amateur radios, and spending time with his family, friends, and neighbors. He is survived by his loving wife of 37 years, Barbara Felice, of Hudson, FL, a son Joe Felice (Carrie), of Spring Hill, FL, a daughter, Erin Miraglia (Damon) of Patchogue, NY, four grandchildren: Jake Miraglia, Derek Felice, Ava Miraglia, and Ashley Felice, a brother Ted Felice, and two sisters, Jo-Ann Rowland and Cindy Felice. He was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph and Lorriane. Services, to be announced, will be held at Florida National Cemetery, Bushnell, Florida. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Disabled American Veterans, or a veteran's organization of your choice, in Jim's honor.
