The world is short, a die hard Dallas Cowboys fan, Keith J Kurey, Marine, father, brother, uncle, husband and friend to many, lost his 15 year battle with Huntingtons disease. He fought a good fight any MMA fighter would have been proud. Keith knew how to live, his personality was just as loud and unforgettable as his music. He was an accomplished air guitarist, and a singer. He always had a smile on his face. His laugh, his blue eyes ad his sense of humor will not easily be forgotten by those who knew him. Keith was known for his imitations of tractor pulls and bigfoot. He will forever be in our hearts. Keith was preceded in death by his mother, Betty and father, Richard and his sister, Colleen.
Keith is survived by his wife of 20 years, Kimber, his daughter, Maggie Kurey, his stepson Chase Calcagno, his personal chef, barista, bartender, and caregiver, Bill Luebbers. He also leaves his Football advisor, Joe Calcagno, and his big brother, Scott Kurey and his nieces, Missy and Megan Kurey, and his nephew, Matt Kurey. Keith is survived by his best friends, Travis Webb and Chris Evans and even though they were Giants fans, Keith found a way to love them.
Keith's family will have a small burial at Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell, FL where Keith will be laid to rest with the Honors he was so deserving of. A Celebration of Keith's life will be held in his home town of Windsor, NY at a later date. In memory of Keith, drink a half of a beer and set it down and forget where you left it. Semper Fi
