Leo B. George

George, Leo B., 90, of Brooksville, Florida, passed May 22, 2017. He is the son of Burket George and Nellie Decker George. He attended GAR High School, worked as a steel worker and union leader, and was a veteran of the U.S. Navy. After losing his wife, he became the longtime companion of Doris Halterman. He was preceded in death by his parents, brother Joseph George, and sisters Miriam Sweeney and Bernadette Schultz, and is survived by his daughter, Lorraine George, 2 grandsons, Michael and Stephan of Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania, brothers George George of St. Francis, Wisconsin, Philip George, Richmond, Virginia, and many nieces and nephews.
