MARK ANTHONY SWICONEK

November 15, 1958 — January 11, 2016

Mark Anthony Swiconek 57, of Spring Hill, Florida passed away early Monday January 11, 2015 unexpectedly at his home. Mark was born November 15, 1958 in Hartford, Connecticut. Mark lived in Plainville, Connecticut where he attended Plainville High School and graduated in 1978. Mark was a member of Our Lady of Mercy Church, he served as a Deacon and read the Gospel. He was employed by Stanley Works, in New Britain Connecticut as a mail clerk. Mark left Connecticut in 1997 and moved to Glenrock, Wyoming where he was employed by the Holiday Inn. In 1998 Mark moved to Spring Hill, Florida where he was employed at Oak Hill Hospital in the Environmental Services Department since 1999. At age twenty two Mark joined the Special Olympics family, which helped him grow into the extraordinary man he became. Some of the Achievements awarded to Mark include: Additional Volunteer Activities: The list goes on. Mark is survived by his sisters Barbara Dalpe, MaryAnn DiPinto, nephews, Joseph Johnson, Philip Johnson, Thomas DiPinto, nieces Katie Johnson, Heather Dalpe, Susan Dalpe, Jenny-Mae Johnson, Stephanie Billips, Jordan Johnson. 6 great nephews. And extended family members. He was also predeceased by his parents Andrew and Helen Tutko, and a nephew Christopher Schwab. Memorial Services are to be held at: Pinecrest Funeral Chapel, 3369 Mariner Blvd Spring Hill, Fl Monday, January 18, 2016 2-4pm & 6-8pm Memorial Mass will be held at: St. Francis Cabrini Church, 5030 Mariner Blvd, Spring Hill, Fl Thursday, January 21, 2016 11am The family has asked that all donations be made payable to: Special Olympics Florida-Hernando County 9611 Commercial Way Weeki Wachee, Fl 34613
