Mary Elizabeth Michelle Blomeling

Mary Blomeling, age 28, of Spring Hill FL, formerly Holland and Grand Rapids MI died on February 6,2025 at the Sturgill Hospice House after a courageous 3.5 year battle with Glioblastoma.

Mary, the beloved daughter of Jaime Blomeling and Sara Blomeling DeRoo was a talented young woman who saw life through the eyes of an artist and poet. Mary championed the cause of the underdog and had a legendary heart for caring.

It was often said Mary was “made of music” and indeed she had a strong proficiency with singing, writing and enjoying every single genre she listened to. Mary loved nature, sunflowers and especially her rescue dog Luna.

Mary is survived by a big bodacious family that mourn her loss tremendously. Besides her parents, she leaves behind Grandfather John A Gleason, siblings Jaane (Brad) Leiter, Jaime Jr., Joshua, Ann, Jack, and Jace Blomeling. Also, siblings, Catherine (Steven) Gonzalez DeRoo, Sydney (Anya) DeRoo, Taylor, Desmond, Elijah and Christian DeRoo.

She is predeceased by her baby brother Jaden Blomeling DeRoo, and Grandparents, Ed and Gerri Blomeling and Paul and Alice Hooker, JoAnn Gleason, and her aunt Heidi Glass, cousins Alex DeVriendt and Steve Blomeling.

She is also survived by Aunts and Uncles, John Blomeling, Cindy (Bill) Vandaveer, Allison (Tim) DeVriendt, Ed(Patty) Blomeling, Jill Kendall, Jody (Stacy) Blomeling, Richard Hooker, John (Lisa) Gleason, Jeff (Adriana) Gleason, Kelly (Tim) Poelstra, Nick (Lori) Gleason, Jesse (Mary) Gleason, Lori (Tim) Kladder, Andy (Jamie) Gleason, Kristin Gleason, Jenny Gleason. She also leaves behind nieces and nephews, Taylor and Brandon Leiter, Avianna Gonzalez and Chauncey DeRoo. She leaves behind numerous precious cousins and friends.
