Mary Ann Richards Kolbas

MaryAnn Richards Kolbas, age 91 of Springhill, passed away on August 28th, 2021. She was preceded in death by her husband Thomas V. Richards, her parents Helen and Michael Kolbas and her daughter Gail Brumett. MaryAnn is survived by her son, Tom Richards, his child Laurel(Ben) Ditkof of Grand Rapids MI. Son-in-law, Pine Brumett, his children Scott and Catharine Brumett of Springhill FL. Sister, Irene(Gerald) Bokas, their children Maureen(Bruce) Gentry, Cindy(Michael) Mageau, and Kathy(Greg) Varano of Detroit MI and many additional cousins, nieces and nephews across the country. MaryAnn was born in September 1929 in Michigan. She worked for Wayne State University. She was married to her husband, Thomas for more than (40) years. MaryAnn was involved with her church and regularly donated to her local VA. She loved her family, baking, and was an avid reader.
