Michael “Mike” Joseph Robinson, 80, of Spring Hill, Florida passed away peacefully at home with family by his side on Friday, September 24, 2021. His battle with medical issues in recent years showed his courage in facing life’s challenges.
He was born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania to John and Mary Robinson. He honorably served in the United States Army and then in the National Guard. After his military service, he continued his good works by joining the Philadelphia Police Department. He served for 25 years and retired as a Lieutenant.
Desiring warmer weather, he relocated with his family to Spring Hill, Florida. He returned to law enforcement because he knew there was no greater calling then to serve his fellow man by joining the Veterans Administration Police Department. He retired after many years of service.
Mike spent the remainder of his time with family and friends. He loved to laugh and had a joke ready for any occasion. Mike loved to socialize and never met a stranger. He enjoyed RV trips, the beach, restaurants, the pool and driving anywhere.
He will be greatly missed by his family and friends. He is preceded in death by his parents and brother James Robinson. The loving husband, brother, father, and grandfather is survived by his wife Hannah “Nancy” Robinson; his children Mary Bowermaster (Richard), Catherine “Katie” Cappucci (Dion) and Michael Robinson Jr.; brother John Robinson; grandchildren Ricky, Taylor, Vivian, Sabrina and Devina.
There will be a private family viewing.

“May the road rise up to meet you.
May the wind be always at your back.
May the sun shine warm upon your face;
the rains fall soft upon your fields and until we meet again,
May God hold you in the palm of His hand.”
