Michelle Virginia Griswold

Michelle “Ginger” Griswold (Allard) has gone to rest on August 20, 2023 after a hard-fought battle with breast cancer. She is survived by her loving husband, Alan “Tanker” Griswold, her daughters Olivia Smith (and son-in-law Jeremy), Stephanie Mei (Dylan), her stepchildren Tabitha (Anthony), Cody (Sarah), & Blake Griswold, her dogs Amber & Harold, and several other friends and family members. She is preceded in death by her mother, Vicki Allard, and her beloved grandparents, Robert & Yvonne Allard.

Michelle was a native of Western Massachusetts where she was born and raised, residing there and raising her daughters before trading the harsh winters of New England for the balmy climate of Florida’s Gulf Coast.

 Anyone who knew Ginger knew her love for her husband, her children (biological, step, and furry), shoes, and mascara. Her infectious energy would light up a party. She loved being surrounded by friends and riding on the back of her and Tanker’s Harley.  She was a hard worker, who achieved a sociology degree and achieved her dream of working as a social worker for the geriatric population across western Massachusetts.

Ginger may be physically gone but will be remembered by her loved ones every time they take a motorcycle ride, buy a new pair of shoes, or realize they have one too many tubes of mascara.

Her celebration of life will be held September 30, 2023, in Dunnellon, Florida.
