Miguel Torres

TORRES, MIGUEL, 93, Spring Hill, passed away on October 7, 2016. He was born in Cidra, Puerto Rico, the son of Miguel and Sarafina (Marano) Torres. Before his retirement, he was the owner and operator of a service station. Miguel is survived by his three children, Michael A. Torres, David E. Torres, daughter, Zaida S. Grantz; 9 grandchildren, Jessica A. Torres, Nicole M. Torres, Christopher M. Torres, David A. Torres, Jason M. Torres, Kerry J. Grantz, Karin M. Grantz, Katrina M. Rice, Kristine A. Bigon; thirteen great-grandchildren, Makayla J. Hunter, Mariah J. Hunter, Mayah J. Hunter, Angel L. Hunter, Destinee G. Torres, Jason M. Torres, Jr., RaeLynn Torres, Amber M. Grantz, Jacob M. Grantz, Brendon M. Grantz, Robert R. Rice, Jazmen Z. Rice, Joshua D. Bigon; and 1 great great-grandchild, Ahmahdie R. Grantz. Visitation will be at the funeral home on Monday, October 17, from 6:00-8:00PM. A funeral service will be conducted Tuesday, October 18, 10:00AM at Pinecrest Funeral Chapel, with Deacon Gregorio Lugo officiating. Following the service, he will be interred with his wife, Rosa (2002), at Florida National Cemetery, Bushnell. Military honors will be conducted by Marine Corps League, Detachment #708.
