Peter H. Bonetti, of Brooksville, Florida, a beloved husband, father, grandfather, and brother, passed away on June 22, 2024, surrounded by his wife and children. Born in Newburgh, New York, to Joseph Charles Bonetti and Clara Rose Bonetti (Ramsden), brother to Charles Joseph Bonetti, Peter was a cherished member of his family and community.
A proud United States Air Force veteran, Peter dedicated 26 years of his life to the New York State Department of Corrections, where he also served on the CERT team, demonstrating his unwavering commitment to service and safety.
Peter was the devoted husband to Annette Marie Bonetti (Pulliam) and the loving father to Nichole Rene Lee (Sean), Brian Michael Pulliam, Joseph Michael Bonetti (Heather), Erin Marie Gallagher, and Harley Bonetti. His legacy continues through his grandchildren: Illias A. Lee, Kal-El C. Lee, Roman D. Lee, Antoinette Y. Pulliam, McKenzie R. Epperson, Maddie J. Bonetti, Ethan T. Bonetti, Audrey S. Bonetti, Parker R. Bonetti, and Erica L. Hayes and his great grandchildren Eastyn G, Kaysen M, Gunner C. He was also a dear uncle to Tracy, Andrea and Mark Bonetti, as well as many more extended family members.
Peter's life was marked by his passion for riding his Harley, fondly known as 'Black Beauty.' He was an ardent Raiders fan and found great joy in camping, boating, fishing, and numerous other outdoor activities. His adventurous spirit and love for the outdoors were infectious, bringing light and laughter into every space he entered.
Peter's extended family and friends will remember him as a true American—a man of integrity, dedication, and boundless enthusiasm for life.
Peter's memory will forever be etched in the hearts of those who knew and loved him. His contributions to his family, community, and country are a testament to a life well-lived.
