Robert Allen Bonie, Sr of New Orleans (also known as Bob, Louisiana Bob, and New Orleans Bob) passed away in Spring Hill, Florida. He is survived by his wife of 59 years, Lorraine, his daughter, Lori, son-in-law, Farzad, son, Robert Jr., 3 grandchildren, Mallory, Megan, Joshua, and 3 great grandchildren, Ahnalise, Ahdelina, Ronin, and sister-in-laws, Margie, Darlene, and Teresa, brother-in-laws, Melvin and Frank and his nieces and nephews.
Preceded in death by his Mother, Dorothy, his step-Father, Alvin, his two sisters, Barbara and Charlene, and his brother, Jerome.
Bob was an Air Force Veteran, worked for ICG railroad in Louisiana, and had several small businesses throughout his lifetime.
He knew no strangers. He would start a conversation within 1 to 5 seconds of standing next to someone.
He was a great Husband and Father who was a total family man wanting nothing but the best for his family.
Bob would go out of his way to help anyone who needed help and spent a lifetime giving to several of his favorite charities.
He will be missed by many. Rest in Peace.
