Rose T. Traynor

Traynor, Rose Therese, 95, of Spring Hill, passed away peacefully February 7, 2017. Born in Saarbrücken, Germany, she is the wife of the late Jay Traynor. Jay & Rosie met in Germany where Jay was stationed as a soldier in the US Army. They were married in Germany April 5, 1947. They moved back to the United States to Pennsylvania, then moved to Hinckley, Ohio for several years, finally retiring to Spring Hill. Rosie was a member of the Garden Club, and loved to do ceramics and crafts. She also loved to travel. She was the kindest, most open minded, loving and giving person. She will be truly missed by her friends and family. She is preceded in death by her parents, Johann Schäffner and Anna Mettlach, brother, Kurt Schäffner, and her husband, Jay, and her infant daughter, Diana May Traynor. She is survived by her nephew, Roman Schäffner, of Germany, and many friends.
