Samuel Grant Brumett

BRUMETT, SAMUEL G., 68, of Spring Hill, FL, passed on Sunday, December 9, 2012 at HPH Hospice Care Center in Brooksville, FL. He was born on October 23, 1944 in Erie, PA to the late Pine and Carrie (nee Triana) Brumett. Mr. Brumett served his country in the US Navy before going to work and retiring as a Machine Room Supervisor for Electric Materials. He enjoyed spending time with his family, soaking up the sun at Pine Island, and cheering on his beloved Penn State Nittany Lions. He was catholic by faith. Samuel is survived by his family, including: his sons Brian (Cheryl) of North East, PA; Barry (Melissa) and Kevin of Wattsburg, PA; his daughter Christine of Tampa, FL; his brother Pine of Spring Hill, FL; 7 grandchildren: Eric, Brandon, Nick, Brittney, Paige, Justin, and Jake; and 1 great-granddaughter Lucie. He was preceded in death by his parents and his sister, Barabara Brumett. Services will take place at a future date.
