He will be missed by his four brothers and five sisters, many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends around the country.
Tim was born on February 22, 1953 to the late Maura and William Grube, and was raised in Bayport, NY. He was the eldest of ten siblings and lived on Long Island, NY until he relocated to central Florida in 1998. Most will remember Tim’s quick wit and entertaining stories about his life experiences as well as his clever sense of humor. Tim was fond of crossword puzzles, novels, movies, and television. He had a lifelong passion for music. He was a skilled vocalist and guitar player performing in bands on Long Island and Florida for many years. He was an avid fan of country and rock-a-billy music and often wrote and recorded original music. Tim played many instruments including lap steel, mandolin, and harmonica as well as his beloved Fender Telecaster and Martin acoustic.
A memorial service will be held in New York at a later date.
