Alfred "Denny" Humphreys Jr., 65, of Brooksville, FL, passed away on August 11, 2020 in Brooksville. The Graveside service will be held at Grace Memorial Gardens & Funeral Home, Garden of Valor-West, located at 16931 US Highway 19 N, Hudson, FL, 34667 on Monday, August 17, 2020 at 11:00 am. Pastor David Hope of Stable Faith Cowboy Church will be officiating. Pinecrest Funeral Chapel will handling all funeral arrangements. Denny was born in Norfolk, VA to Alfred Denny Humphreys and Virginia Love Humphreys on December 8, 1954. He attended high school at Gulf High. Denny built homes for the family owned business "Love Homes" in Hernando Beach. He also owned and operated his own commercial fishing boat "III Sisters". Denny lived on the edge! He had a need for speed and was fearless. The only person he feared was God. Denny had a lot of hobbies through out his life. He loved speed boats, guns, hunting, fishing, Nascar, motocross, but most of all his family and friends. He was the most tender hearted man that would give the shirt off his back to anyone. Denny is survived by his three daughters; Amber Forbes (Ken), Ashlei Drabin (Alex), Autumn Harbert (Larry); sister Gail Matusik (Dan). Denny also had 5 grandchildren, Mikayla, Shianna, Sean, Addison, and Olivia. He is preceded in death by his wife, Jane Humphreys; father Alfred Humphreys; mother Virginia Humphreys; daughter Kristen Humphreys.
