Isaac Rodriguez

d. October 17, 2020

Isaac Rodriguez went home to his Heavenly Father on October 17, 2020 after a two-week battle with COVID-19. Isaac was born in San German, Puerto Rico, on June 6, 1941, son of the late Isaac Rodriguez and Juana Felicia Lugo Cancel. He is survived by his beloved wife of 54 years, Luz Eneida Rodriguez, his two sons Isaac and Adrian Rodriguez, daughter-in-law Mary Pat Rodriguez, and three grandchildren, Marshall, Patrick and Reese Rodriguez. Isaac came to the domestic United States in 1959 in search of a better life. He found it when, in the summer of 1964, he met Luz on a blind date. It was love at first sight, and in 1966 they were married. They raised their sons in Passaic, NJ. Isaac was an extremely hard worker, often holding multiple jobs simultaneously to make ends meet. He worked tirelessly year after year to provide for his family and could do any job with extraordinary results. Beginning with factory work and progressing to small business ownership, Isaac achieved the American dream. From truck driving to real estate investments, his work ethic and vast skillset brought him success across diverse lines of work. In 2005, Isaac and Luz retired to Spring Hill, Florida, where he enjoyed life to the fullest. His greatest source of pride was his family, and his love was particularly evident in his extravagant and generous gift selections, particularly for his grandchildren. His life was cut short by the pandemic, but his legacy lives on in his children and grandchildren. The family will hold a small, private service. A socially distanced walk-through viewing will be held at Pinecrest Funeral Chapel in Spring Hill, Florida, on Thursday, October 22nd. Family and friends are welcome to pay last respects between the hours of 10:30 am and 12 pm. Isaac will be laid to rest in New Jersey, next to his beloved mother.
