GORDON P. CARR

CARR, GORDON “GORDY” P., of the Brookridge Community in Brooksville, passed away October 14, 2012 at HPH Hospice Care Center. He was a native of Hartford, Vermont and a resident of this area for the past eleven years coming from Dover, New Hampshire. He was a retired Master Sergeant of the US Air Force and a member of the American Legion and Brooksville Golf Association. Gordy is survived by his wife, Janet; two daughters, Debbie and Wanda; one son, Philip; three brothers, Walter “Danny”, and his wife, Cynthia Carr, of Spring Hill, FL, Horace, and his wife Kathleen Carr, Donald, and his wife, Pauline Carr, all of Port Charlotte, FL. He was preceded in death by brothers Charlie, William, sisters, Mary, Elsie and Margaret. A memorial service will be conducted on Monday, October 22, 9:30AM at Pinecrest Funeral Chapel, Cortez Boulevard, Brooksville. Inurnment will follow at Florida National Cemetery with full military honors. The family asks that, in lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to HPH Hospice.
