Lucille Marie Brasseaux A memorial service will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, July 10, 2021 in Delhomme Chapel of the Flowers- Bertrand for Lucille Marie Brasseaux, 61, who passed away on June 27, 2021 at Sturgill Hospice House in Brooksville, FL. Lucille Marie Brasseaux was born on January 6, 1960 and was raised in Cecilia, Louisiana. She is the daughter of Joseph Ulysse and Madeline Latiolais Brasseaux. She is a 1978 graduate of Cecilia High School.  She began sewing at the tender age of 10 creating her Barbie Doll outfits which grew into a lifelong profession of a professional seamstress. When she was not sewing, she could be found tending to her plants and caring for her beloved dogs Levon and Lily. Survivors include two brothers, Dwayne “Bross” Brasseaux and his wife, Melisa, of Cecilia and Shane Brasseaux of Houston, TX; brother-in-law David Delucia of Atlanta, GA; three nieces Angelle and Allison Brasseaux of Cecilia and Elyse Delucia(godchild) of Atlanta GA; aunts Verna Mae (Pete) Latiolais Wiltz and Sybil K. Brasseaux; uncles Ron (Yvonne) Latiolais and Don (Hazel) Latiolais; Godchild, Danielle Landry Hebert; Significant Other Edward Mistach and his daughter Brittany and her two children. She was preceded in death by her parents Joseph Ulysse and Madeline Latiolais Brasseaux; brother Dale Brasseaux; sister Jennifer Brasseaux Delucia; maternal grandparents Leonard and Angelle Thibodeaux Latiolais; paternal grandparents Noah and Lucille Angelle Brasseaux; paternal aunts and uncles Rena (Wesley) Brasseaux Dore, Merina (Wilton) Brasseaux Guidry, Shelby Brasseaux, Roger Joseph (Majorie) Brasseaux, Furdy (Delta) Brasseaux, Ramsey Brasseaux, Dewey (Clothide) Brasseaux, Dorsey (Edith) Brasseaux; maternal aunts and uncles Genevieve (Aurelien) Latiolais Leblanc and Ulysses (Ethel) Latiolais. The family will receive visitors on Saturday, July 10, 2021 from 8:30 am until time of service. A Rosary will be prayed Saturday morning at 10:00 AM. Music will be provided by Laura Huval and Maegan Rankin. The family would like to thank Sturgill Hospice House for taking such good care of her during her final hours. They would like to also thank all of the family and friends who reached out to her during her battle with Breast Cancer. She was so appreciative of the outpouring of love.
