Sonny Isabell

Sonny Isabell, 77 of Spring Hill, FL passed away on September 18, 2021 at Kindred Hospital, Tampa, Fl. Sonny was born on May 13, 1944 in Ticonderoga, NY, the son of Edna & Henry Isabell Sr. He was a hard-working man who enjoyed golfing, fishing and playing cards with his family. He loved his family with all his heart and soul and was proud of his children and so very proud to be a grandfather AND great grandfather. He was extremely proud to be a crossing guard with the Hernando County Sheriffs office from 2012-2015. When Sonny entered a room you knew things would get interesting. He was quite a character on the outside but his heart was big and he was a generous man. He is survived by his wife, Ellen Isabell and exwife Johnna Isabell, daughter Michelle (Dan) Williams, son Michael (Heather) Isabell both of Pennellville, NY, step son Steven DeGouff of Lakeport, NY. Grandfather to Jeffrey Williams and fiancé Alexis Short of Weedsport, Lauren and Jeff Bibbens of Weedsport, Paige Isabell and Evan Isabell of Pennellville, Riley and Bethany DeGouff of Lakeport, and great grandfather to Jaxon and Ava Bibbens, Weedsport. Also survived by 3 brothers, Henry (Joanne) Isabell, Edmond (Nina) Isabell, Thomas (Gail) Isabell, 1 sister Betty Ann Ruiz. Brothers in-law Raymond Christopher and Jon Spring. Also many nieces and nephews. Sonny was predeceased by his sisters Irene Christopher, Yvette Kisil, Alice Spring, and brother Edward Frola. Arrangements are made through Pinecrest Funeral Chapel & Cremation Service, 3369 Mariner Blvd., Spring Hill, FL. There will be a memorial service in Spring Hill, Fl and New York at a later date.
