STEPHEN MEDLIN

W. Stephen Medlin – December 18, 1952 – March 1, 2013. Steve was born in Carmel, CA but lived most of his life in Maryland. He was a graduate of Franklin Senior High School. He was a hotel project manager. This job became his passion as he was able to travel while remodeling hotels internationally. He was a caring, wonderful man that loved his family and made friends everywhere he went. Steve was predeceased by his father, Walter Medlin. He is survived by mother Joan Medlin, his long-time girlfriend, Sheila Hartlerode, daughter Carrie Medlin, son Jeffrey Medlin, grandsons Andrew Barbour and Kendrick Frock, granddaughter Kylie Medlin, brothers Paul and Phil Medlin, sister Nancy Rohde along with many nieces and nephews. A Celebration of his life is being planned and will be held in Reisterstown, Maryland in April 2013. Please contact the family or the “Steve Medlin Memorial Page” on Facebook for specifics. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to help with his arrangement expenses. Remaining funds will be donated to Carroll County Youth Service Bureau.
