Catherine Hennessy

HENNESSY, Catherine (nee Hehir) , 77, of Spring Hill, FL, formerly of Park Ridge, NJ was called home by the Lord on March 23, 2013. She passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Queens, NY. She moved to Park Ridge, NJ in 1969 where she raised her eight children. She was a registered nurse for 37 years. She was a member of the Spring Hill Stroke Club. She was a parishioner of St Joan of Arc Catholic Church in Spring Hill, FL and Our Lady of Mercy Catholic Church in Park Ridge, NJ. She is survived by her husband of 46 years, Thomas, 6 Daughters: Eleanor Van Wyk, Patricia (Robert) Williams, Victoria (Kevin) Lehr, Catherine (Thomas) Farinaro, Denise (James) Patterson, and Jennifer (Peter) DePalma; a son: Thomas (Eileen) Hennessy, Jr.; 13 Grandchildren: Kenneth, Christopher, Dana, Joseph, Emily, Victor, Luke, James, Jessica, Emma, Meghan, Kylie, and Bridgett; 1 great-grandchild, Jayden; and a brother: Thomas Hehir. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Lorraine Hennessy and a brother, John Hehir. The family will receive friends on March 26, 2013 from 4-7 PM at Pinecrest Funeral Chapel on Mariner Boulevard in Spring Hill. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 AM on March 27, 2013 at St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church. The family will have a memorial service in Park Ridge, NJ at a later date.
